Stephan Dimke Joins Ocean Technologies Group as Sales Director for EMEA 

We are delighted to announce that we have strengthened our global team with the appointment of Stephan Dimke as our Sales Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

Stephan brings a wealth of experience in maritime technology sales having started his career with Transas ultimately progressing to the position of Sales Director EMEA. His entrepreneurial streak saw him acquire ChartWorld in 2011, with an innovative hardware-as-a-service model for navigation equipment in the maritime sector. Following the sale of ChartWorld to Teledyne in 2023, Stephan has accepted the opportunity to further his career with OTG. 

Stephan also brings valuable personal experience of life at sea having started his career as a navigator in the German Navy, as well as gaining comprehensive insights into effective sales strategies and client relationship management achieved studying Economics and Sales in Germany.

While we continuously improved our navigation software, I came to realize that the effectiveness of any software or vessel is closely tied to the competency of the person steering it. This realization motivated my decision to join Ocean Technologies Group. I am looking forward to working with our customers to helping them to maximise their investment in their people” Said Stephan on joining.
