Developed by INTERTANKO’s Human Element in Shipping Committee (HEiSC), the objective of this Competence Management Guidance (ICMG) is to assist Ship Operators in ensuring that officers have the right technical competences to perform their duties, prevent incidents and set competence standards based on best practice across their fleet.  This will help with monitoring and actively managing the skill sets and being proactive when specific training needs arise.

We hope you can join us for a short introduction to the ICMG.

Event will be held 30th of March,

10:00-10:45 (UTC)

Competency Management (CMS) offers a range of benefits to all ship types and trades in terms of assurance, crew development, compliance and performance and we’ll be spotlighting these as well as a range of new competency standards we are launching over the next month.
